Chief Douglas A. Robinson has over 30 years of experience as a police officer, with more than 10 years as Chief of Police. Chief Robinson Grew up Portsmouth NH and graduated from Portsmouth High School, then attended Southern Vermont College in Bennington Vt. After Southern Vermont College Chief Robinson moved back to Portsmouth where he met his wife Kimberley. Chief Robinson started his law enforcement career with the Windham County Sheriffs Department in 1982 as a part time deputy sheriff. He graduated from the VCJTC in 1984 with the 39th Basic Full Time Academy Class. Chief Robinson has worked for Windham County Sheriffs Dept., Springfield Police Department, Hartford Police Department and Joining the Norwich Police Department in 2002 and being appointed to the position of Chief in 2004. During his career he has been assigned to the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, and the Southern Vermont Drug Task Force. Chief Robinson is married to Kimberley, raised two children Jeffrey and Amanda and have two grandchildren Rylee and Blake. Chief Robinson resides in Hartford Vermont with his wife Kimberley.
